Meet and Greet at JKIA
A meet & greet puts a named assistant at the airport for you — welcoming an arriving passenger with a name sign, guiding them through the terminal, helping with bags and handing over to their onward transport. Ideal for first-time visitors, elderly travellers, families and unaccompanied guests.
Name-sign welcome
Met after customs, guided landside and helped to onward transport.
Guided check-in
Kerb to check-in with the right terminal, desk and timing.
No queue-jump promises
Immigration and security are controlled by the authorities, not us.
How meet & greet pricing works
Priced per booking for the passengers named on it, quoted upfront in KES or USD. The price depends on the option (arrival, departure or connection) and group size, and is confirmed before you pay anything.
Price basis: per booking · option and group size stated · quoted before payment
Three ways to use it
Arrival meet & greet
Your assistant waits landside with a name sign as the passenger exits customs (Terminal 1E international, 1D domestic), helps with trolleys and bags, answers first-time questions — SIMs, money, taxis — and walks them to their driver or pickup.
Departure assistance
Met at the kerb or drop-off, guided to the right terminal entrance and check-in desk with time in hand, and helped with bags and orientation up to the points only passengers can pass.
Connection assistance
For a JKIA connection or a JKIA–Wilson transfer, an assistant bridges the gap: meeting on arrival, helping with bags, and getting the passenger to the next check-in or their transfer vehicle with the timing managed.
What meet & greet is not
Honest limits, upfront
We do not promise fast-track or queue-jumping. Immigration, security and customs are controlled by the authorities and the airlines; an assistant cannot move you ahead of them, and any expedited channel exists only where the airport or airline legitimately offers it for your flight — we’ll tell you honestly if it doesn’t.
The assistant also cannot pass airside where only passengers may go, or override airline decisions on check-in and baggage. What you are buying is a knowledgeable person, on the ground, whose only job is your passenger — which is exactly what a tired or first-time traveller needs.

Tell us the flight and who we’re meeting. The desk confirms availability and a per-booking price before anything is charged.

Thank you — the desk will confirm availability and the per-booking price. Nothing is booked and no payment is taken until you confirm.

Booked through the JKIA.co.ke Flightline Desk
We are a small independent desk that tracks JKIA day to day. Our meet & greet is sold on what it genuinely delivers — a capable person on the ground for your passenger — not on fast-track promises we can’t keep.
Every booking names the operating provider, the per-booking price and the terms before payment, and we’ll say plainly when a request (like expedited immigration) isn’t something anyone can legitimately sell.

Meet & greet: frequently asked questions
What is the JKIA meet and greet service?
A named assistant at the airport for your passenger: waiting with a name sign as they exit customs, helping with bags, guiding them through the terminal and handing over to their onward transport. It suits first-time visitors, elderly travellers, families and unaccompanied guests.
Does meet and greet include fast-track through immigration?
No — and be wary of anyone who promises it. Immigration, security and customs are controlled by the authorities; an assistant cannot move you ahead of the queue. Any expedited channel exists only where the airport or airline legitimately offers it for your flight.
Where does the assistant meet an arriving passenger?
Landside in the arrivals area, with a name sign, as the passenger exits after immigration, baggage and customs — Terminal 1E for international arrivals and 1D for domestic. The assistant cannot go airside where only passengers may pass.
How much does JKIA meet and greet cost?
It is priced per booking, depending on the option (arrival, departure or connection) and group size. Request availability with your flight details and the desk confirms a price in KES or USD before anything is charged.
What if the flight is delayed?
The assistant monitors the flight and adjusts to the actual landing time, so a delay does not mean a missed meeting. You also get a contact number for the day in case plans change.
Can you meet an elderly passenger or a minor travelling alone?
Yes — that is the classic use. Tell us in the booking notes so the assistant is briefed. For unaccompanied minors, note that airlines run their own formal UM programmes with handover rules; our assistant complements but does not replace the airline’s process.
Is meet and greet the same as wheelchair assistance?
No. Wheelchair and reduced-mobility (PRM) assistance is arranged free of charge with your airline and provided through the airport’s systems — see our special assistance guide. Meet & greet is a paid convenience service for guidance and help with bags.
Can I combine meet and greet with an airport transfer?
Yes, and it works best that way: the assistant walks your passenger straight to the transfer driver, so there is no gap between the terminal and the vehicle. Choose the arrival + transfer option on the form and we quote both together.
