JKIA is a working international airport with strict security, so a school visit isn’t a walk-in — it must be requested and approved in advance, and what your group can access depends on that approval.

Student safety comes before everything. We plan visits to support your school’s own safeguarding and risk-assessment obligations, not replace them.
Supervision & ratios
Teachers and accompanying adults remain responsible for their students throughout. We agree adult-to-student ratios with you in advance — smaller for younger children — and keep groups together with named leaders.

Will students get airside or behind-the-scenes access?
Only if the airport authority specifically approves it. Access to restricted or airside areas depends on official permission and the security conditions on the day, so we never promise it in advance — we confirm exactly what has been approved for your group before the visit.
How far ahead do we need to book a school visit?
Well in advance — approvals and clearances take time, and some sites ask for group bookings weeks ahead. Send your enquiry as early as possible with your preferred dates and we’ll advise a realistic timeline.
What are the safeguarding and supervision arrangements?
Your teachers and accompanying adults stay responsible for students throughout. We agree adult-to-student ratios in advance, use briefed, background-checked guides, set emergency procedures and meeting points, and provide the information you need for your risk assessment and consent forms.

How do students get to and from the airport?
