Book a Lounge at JKIA
Buy lounge access for your JKIA departure or layover — a calmer seat, food, drinks, wifi and sometimes a shower, priced per person per visit. Tell us your terminal, flight and passengers; we confirm an eligible lounge and the price before anything is charged. Bookings are confirmed by the desk, not “instantly”.
Priced per visit
Adult and child rates confirmed on your quote before payment.
You may already have access
Business class, status or Priority Pass may get you in free.
Confirmed by a human
Lounges cap entry when full — we confirm availability, then you pay.
How lounge pricing works
Access is priced per person, per visit, usually for a stated maximum stay (commonly a few hours — the exact allowance is on your quote). Child rates and infant policies vary by lounge and are confirmed with your quote in KES or USD.
Price basis: per person per visit · maximum stay stated · adult/child rates on the quote
Before you pay: you may already have access
Don’t buy what you already own
If you are flying business or first class, hold eligible frequent-flyer status, or carry a lounge membership or premium card such as Priority Pass, you may already have lounge access included — check your booking, loyalty tier or program app first.
This page is for everyone else: economy travellers without status who want a calmer few hours. The lounges guide explains all four access routes.
What a lounge pass gets you
- Entry for the named passengers, up to the stated maximum stay
- Seating, food and drinks in the lounge
- Wifi and charging
- Washrooms; showers where the lounge has them (confirm on your quote)
- A quieter space than the gate area
Typically included
- Fast-track through immigration or security
- A bed — a lounge is rest, not sleep (see day-use hotels)
- Flight announcements in every lounge — watch your own boarding time
- Access beyond the stated maximum stay unless extended and paid
- Alcohol limits or premium items some lounges charge for
Not included
Watch your own boarding time. Lounges are airside in the departure concourses; make sure your lounge matches the concourse you fly from, and leave the lounge with enough time to reach your gate — boarding often starts 30–45 minutes before departure. See departing from JKIA.
Timing, children and cancellation
When to book and arrive
Book ahead of travel day where possible — entry is subject to space, and pre-arranged access is confirmed before you fly. Arrive with your boarding pass and the confirmation named on your quote; the maximum stay runs from entry.
Children and infants
Child rates and infant policies vary by lounge — some admit infants free and charge a child rate from a stated age. Give children’s ages on the form so the right rates and policy are confirmed on your quote.
Cancellation and changes
Cancellation and change terms are stated on your quote before you pay — typically flexible up to a stated cut-off. If your flight moves, contact the desk with the new details and we’ll rework the booking where the lounge allows.
If the lounge is full
Lounges cap entry when busy. That is exactly why we confirm availability with the lounge before taking payment — if space can’t be confirmed for your time, you don’t pay, and we’ll say so plainly rather than sell you a “maybe”.
Book lounge access
Send your flight and passengers. The desk confirms an eligible lounge for your terminal, the per-person price and the maximum stay — you pay only after that confirmation.
Request received
Thank you — the desk will confirm an eligible lounge, the per-person price and the maximum stay. Nothing is booked and no payment is taken until you confirm.

Booking a JKIA lounge: frequently asked questions
Can I book a JKIA lounge if I’m flying economy?
Yes — that is exactly what this service is for. Lounge access is sold per person per visit regardless of cabin class, subject to space. Send your flight and passengers and the desk confirms an eligible lounge and price before you pay.
How much does a JKIA lounge pass cost?
Access is priced per person, per visit, usually with a stated maximum stay, and child rates vary by lounge. The exact price in KES or USD is confirmed on your quote before payment — we don’t publish figures that go stale.
Is the booking confirmed instantly?
No, and we won’t pretend otherwise: lounges cap entry when full, so a human confirms availability with the lounge for your time first, then you pay. If space can’t be confirmed, you don’t pay.
How long can I stay in the lounge?
Passes normally cover a stated maximum stay — commonly a few hours — running from entry. The exact allowance for your lounge is on your quote, and longer stays may be possible at an extra charge where the lounge allows.
Can children come into the lounge?
Usually yes, with child rates and infant policies varying by lounge — some admit infants free and charge a child rate from a stated age. Give children’s ages on the form so the right policy is confirmed on your quote.
Does the lounge include a shower?
Some lounges have showers and some don’t. If a shower matters — typically on a long layover — say so on the form and the desk will confirm a lounge with showers where one is available for your terminal and time.
Which terminal will my lounge be in?
Lounges are airside in the departure concourses, and your lounge must match the concourse you fly from — Terminal 2 is a separate building with no airside link. We confirm the lounge for your specific flight and terminal on the quote.
What if my flight changes or I need to cancel?
Cancellation and change terms are stated on your quote before you pay, typically flexible up to a cut-off. If your flight moves, contact the desk with the new details and the booking is reworked where the lounge allows.
