Jambojet is Kenya’s low-cost airline and a subsidiary of Kenya Airways. It flies domestic routes from JKIA’s Terminal 1D — the domestic terminal — where flights both depart and arrive. As a low-cost carrier, most extras (including checked bags) are add-ons, so book them ahead.

Jambojet is a low-cost domestic airline, so connections need a little more care than on a full-service through-ticket — especially if your Jambojet flight is on a separate booking from your international one.
Arriving internationally, flying on with Jambojet
If your Jambojet flight is a separate ticket, you’ll clear immigration and collect your bags at Terminal 1E, then walk to Terminal 1D and check in again with Jambojet. Your bags are not through-checked, so allow generous time.
Give self-transfers a big buffer
On separate tickets you carry the risk if a delay makes you miss the onward flight, so build in a comfortable margin. A through-ticket via Kenya Airways can protect the connection instead.
